Role Description:
This is a contractual role for a Football Performance Analyst Intern. As a Football Performance Analyst Intern at StepOut, you will join a team of analysts and work closely with coaches, scouts, and players to provide a digital footprint of the game with insights and performance reports. You will analyse existing play, study team dynamics, evaluate strengths, and identify weaknesses in individual players as well as provide constructive feedback to improve overall team efficiency.
Qualifications:
● Strong analytical mind with excellent attention to detail and a good interest in football
● Fast learner with the ability to pick up new software and tools quickly
● Ability to work independently and in a team environment
● Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders
● A degree or currently enrolled in a degree in a relevant field such as Sports Science, Statistics, Engineering.
