Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager - Indian Super League Club

Job Overview:
The club is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager to lead the club’s commercial growth through strategic sponsorships and partnerships. This role will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing key sponsorship deals that align with the club’s vision and commercial objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management skills, a deep understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape, and the ability to deliver innovative brand activation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sponsorship Acquisition & Business Development
● Identify potential sponsorship and partnership opportunities across various industries.
● Develop compelling sponsorship proposals and pitch decks tailored to prospective partners.
● Drive end-to-end sponsorship sales, from prospecting to deal closure.
● Leverage the club’s brand assets, fan base, and marketing reach to attract partners.
● Negotiate and structure sponsorship contracts to maximize revenue and brand value.

- Partnership Management & Activation
● Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and partners, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management.
● Oversee the execution of sponsorship deliverables, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
● Develop and execute activation plans that enhance brand visibility and engagement for sponsors.
● Work with internal teams (marketing, digital, and operations) to integrate sponsor branding into the club’s content, events, and matchday experiences.
● Track and report on sponsorship performance, ensuring ROI for partners.

- Strategic Growth & Innovation
● Identify emerging sponsorship trends and explore new revenue streams.
● Collaborate with marketing and media teams to create innovative campaigns that enhance partner value.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across industries.

- Qualifications & Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
● 3+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or partnership management, preferably in sports, entertainment, or media industries.
● Proven track record of securing sponsorship deals and managing corporate partnerships.
● Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
● Understanding of brand marketing, sponsorship activation, and ROI measurement.
● Passion for football and a strong understanding of the Indian sports ecosystem.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Preferred Skills:
● Experience in sports sponsorship sales, particularly within football.
● Strong network within the corporate and brand marketing community.
● Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and content integration strategies.
● Familiarity with contract negotiation and legal aspects of sponsorship agreements
